The 2026 Emmy nominations (78th Primetime Emmy Awards) were revealed this July 8 in a ceremony broadcast from the Television Academy's Wolf Theater in Los Angeles. The Hollywood Reporter published the complete list: The Pitt leads with 25 nominations, Hacks has 24 (a record for a comedy in a single year) and the premiere Widow's Bay surprises with 19. Last year's winners Liza Colón-Zayas (The Bear) and Jeff Hiller (Somebody Somewhere) read the nominees alongside the president of the Television Academy, Cris Abrego (Television Academy). Two categories — Best Variety Show and Best Reality Competition Show — were previewed on NBC's Today Show.
