Browsing and analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate site usage (pages visited, device, approximate country). We do not sell this data to third parties.
On your first visit you will see a cookie notice where you can accept analytics or continue with essential cookies only. Your choice is stored in the browser (localStorage). GA4 loads only if you accept.
You can limit analytics with tracker-blocking extensions or your browser settings. Google describes its processing at policies.google.com/privacy.
Data in your browser
- Polls — your vote is stored in localStorage; we do not send results to an external server.
- Light/dark theme — preference stored locally.
- Comments — if you comment, we send text and a display name to our backend (Supabase) for automatic moderation. No registration required.
- Reading stats — views and likes are recorded anonymously on our backend to show popularity.
Third-party links and services
Articles link to external media, stores and networks. When you leave MARGENEZ, each service's policies apply. App, place and gadget hubs include links to the App Store, Google Play and official sites.
We use Cloudflare Turnstile on comments to reduce spam. Cloudflare may process technical data under its own policy.
Your rights
You may request information about data linked to a published comment or ask for its removal by writing to jgarciaroman@icloud.com or via contact.
