What is MARGENEZ

MARGENEZ is a Spanish-language news site built for reading. We cover gaming, technology, artificial intelligence, culture and world news with long-form, fact-checked pieces meant to help you understand — not just react.

The name is intentional: a margin is white space around text, but also judgment, distance and time to think. In a world where almost everything fights for your attention, MARGENEZ bets on the opposite: clear typography, few distractions and honest labels about how each story was produced.

El nombre no es casual: un margen es espacio en blanco alrededor del texto, pero también es criterio, distancia y tiempo para pensar. En un entorno donde casi todo compite por tu atención, MARGENEZ apuesta por lo contrario: tipografía clara, pocas distracciones y etiquetas honestas sobre cómo se ha producido cada noticia.

Why I built it

I built it because I missed a place to read news without feeling the design pushed me to consume more and understand less. Too many outlets mix alarmist headlines, invasive ads and shallow pieces. I wanted the opposite: space where information can breathe.

Also because artificial intelligence is already part of how news is written and distributed, and I believe that should be stated transparently — not hidden. MARGENEZ uses AI as an editorial tool when it makes sense, always with human review and visible sources.

Finally, because I genuinely care about the topics we cover: consoles, Apple, viral prompts, international politics, digital culture… and they deserved a format that respects the reader.

Goals

• Inform with context — not just the headline, but the why and the nuance.
• Verify before publishing — dates, figures and announcements checked against primary sources.
• Stay transparent — clear labels for verified, AI assisted, prompts and polls.
• Design for reading — mobile and desktop, light and dark mode, without visual noise.
• Grow with judgment — a few well-made stories beat many poorly told ones.

How it works

On the homepage you will see a daily message that changes with the time and day of the week: a brief pause before the feed. Filtered sections — AI, Gaming, Technology, World — let you narrow by content type or platform.

You can subscribe via RSS, follow our official WhatsApp channel, Telegram channel or join the debate group, share any story and check the site changelog from the footer.

When it launched

MARGENEZ went live on 19 June 2026 with its first story: pre-orders and the official cover for GTA 6. Since then the site grows in versions — each documented in the changelog in the footer — with new sections, filters, daily messages and editorial tools.

Editorial principles

1. Priorizamos fuentes primarias: comunicados, documentos oficiales y medios de referencia.
2. Distinguimos hecho verificado de rumor, filtración o opinión.
3. Actualizamos las piezas cuando la información cambia y dejamos constancia de la fecha.
4. No vendemos la atención del lector a cambio de confusión: el diseño sirve al contenido.
5. La IA es una herramienta, no un autor. Siempre hay revisión humana detrás.
