DaVinci is betting on a high-end e-rig with the EQ Electric Quartz: Jacuzzi Collection: a modular system for concentrates that replaces the blowtorch with precise electric heat, he adds a color touch screen on the base (no app required) and cool the steam with a glass Jacuzzi Bubbler with up to 60 ml of water. The complete kit costs $549 at the official US store and includes quartz crucible, zirconia lid, cleaning tools, and an odor-resistant hard case.

Disclaimer: DaVinci markets EQ in the US only for legal aromatic use and over 21 years of age. Always check local regulations regarding concentrate devices before purchasing or traveling with equipment.

Modular design: quartz, water and control on the base

The EQ proposal is not just "heat and go": the quartz crucible is replaceable (replacement from $24), the atomizer/heater detaches from the base and the Jacuzzi Bubbler filters the vapor before reaching the zirconia mouthpiece. DaVinci relies on inert materials in the vapor path and interchangeable parts—bubbler, mouthpiece, quartz or zirconia crucible—to extend the useful life of the rig.

In numbers, the body measures 114 × 98 × 56 mm and weighs 520 g. The casing is made of brushed aluminum; The manufacturer promises up to 50 sessions with the two 3,000 mAh batteries (removable), although the actual autonomy depends on the temperature and duration of each session.

Touch screen, Smart Paths and precise temperature

The control is on the device itself: you swipe on the screen to choose mode, touch to confirm and you can customize brightness, themes (more than 30 backgrounds), LED lights and °F/°C units. There is no need to install an app in between.

There are two main heating modes:

  • Precision temperature: any value between 450 and 650 °F (default 550 °F).
  • Smart Path™: Four pre-configured paths – Terpene (480–500 °F), Flavor (520–540 °F), Clouds (560–580 °F) and Atomic (600–620 °F) – editable in name, duration and range.

To start: you turn on with 5 clicks on the command button, hold down 2 s to warm up and, when the LED turns green, a session of 45 seconds starts. You can add blocks of 20 s (up to +60 s in total). Haptic vibration warns when 10 s remain.

Jacuzzi Bubbler and use technique

The included bubbler holds up to 60 ml (¼ cup) of water—double that of the 30 ml Skyrise variant—for more steam-water contact. DaVinci recommends filling it at most halfway, always disassembled from the base, with clean or distilled water.

To load concentrate there are two common approaches in the documentation:

  • Cold start: you place the extract in the cold crucible and raise the temperature little by little to highlight terpenes.
  • Hot start: loads when the crucible is already hot, oriented towards denser vapor.

The zirconia carb cap with air injectors helps move the extract to the hottest area; DaVinci suggests a gentle circular motion as you inhale and opening the lid at the end to empty the bubbler.

Maintenance, travel and accessories

Cleaning is part of the ritual: warm crucible after each session with hyssop and isopropyl; bubbler with alcohol and coarse salt to soak; never submerge the base or the heater. DaVinci warns against blowing into the mouthpiece — it can flood the electronics.

The included case makes transport easier, but the manufacturer insists on checking local laws before traveling. Replacement parts and alternative bubblers (Skyrise, loose Jacuzzi, zirconia crucibles) are in the EQ accessories collection.
